I would allow an hour to explore.
The trail was .7 miles from parking to the end of the trail. I totaled 1.8 miles due to exploring the side trails on my return to the vehicle.
The trail was mowed but long pants are recommended.
The gravel, grass, and mud trails were wide enough to allow a mowing tractor through. I strongly recommend waterproof hiking shoes. The trails were muddy due to the past 48 hours of rain. This was a quiet, peaceful place to explore. I really enjoyed the goldenrod lane near the gate. The trail had no inclines.
We had this trail to ourselves.
No trash on the trail but evidence of a bonfire at the end of the trail.
Mosquitos respected the hat and bug spray.
Parking: Gravel lot with space for more than 5 vehicles.
My husband, Wesley-Dog, and I saw staghorn sumac, apple, cherry, birch, and maple trees. Asters and Virginia creeper were near the trail head. Goldenrod was beautiful near the trail start. Scat indicated that bear travel this area and prints in the mud confirmed that the apple tree is popular with the deer.

We explored this side trail. It was a dead end, as were all of the side trails.
