The trail has a paved surface interrupted by one wooden bridges.
We walked just over a mile and then returned to the car for a total of 2.25 miles on a pathed path. The sound of Ellicott Creek flowing nearby and the many memorial trees planted alongside the trail were lovely. This trail goes onward for miles if someone has the time and inclination.
The trail was well marked and maintained.
No ticks on this path that I encountered
This would be a great trail for a stroller or wheelchair as long as I am aware of the bicyclists who use this trail. It was wide enough for my very dear friend, Melissa, and I to walk side by side. There were benches and picnic tables for a nice day when someone wants to sit and enjoy. We were just thrilled to fit in our walk between cloud bursts and to be treated to some sun shine.
I only saw walkers and their dogs today...maybe six or seven people?
I only saw one small candy wrapper on our walk.
No mosquitos today.
I saw a variety of trees, especially maples and willows on this walk. We also saw a beautiful oak that was holding on to the majority of its leaves (photo below).

Public toilets...open year round from what I understand. People were working there so I let the building alone.
Pretty cool that this water flows all the way to the Niagara River. This river powered many mills at one time.

The sun came out as we approached the bank of solar panels.

Every tree had a memorial plaque. Daffodils and crocuses were starting to poke up at the base of some of the trees.
Followed many others (based on the trail wear) and left the paved trail to see Ellicott Creek up close --Looked Right

I am still learning to use Strava, but I think I did okay with this one.
